Chiropractic is the Art, Science Philosophy of treating the body by reducing any possible compromise of the nervous system and it's impulses. 

Think of it this way...the brain controls every cell, tissue and organ in our body.  It does this by sending a message to the body by the way of the spinal cord.  Around our spinal cord you will find vertebra.  These vertebra can move and shift out of place causing pressure on the spinal nervous(these are nevrous that branch off the spinal cord) thereby reducing the signal in which the organ gets the proper signal it needs to function correctly.  The University of Colorado stated that the weight of a quarter can alter nerve impulse by 60%.
