"Being born with severe asthma, I have not been able to enjoy a life like many others; always stopping halfway through an activity to catch my breath. Since I started getting Chiropractic treatments on a regular basis, my life has improved greatly. I’m able to go through my daily activities and not get short of breath like I did before.”
I’m a 2004 graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. Since graduating, I have attended many seminars including: Nimmo (trigger point therapy), Activator Methods, and Kinsotherapy Taping. I was recognized the Southwest Virginia Community College Hall of Fame in September 2003, and honored in the spotlight section of the September 2004 Connections Newsletter from Southwest Virginia Community College
Before receiving my Bachelors of Science degree from Palmer College, I attended East Tennessee State University where I was majoring in Exercise Science while minoring in Coaching. My Associate degree was attained from Southwest Virginia Community College in 1998. After seeing how much joy it was helping people live healthier, I earned a personal training certification.
Having spent 3 years as a Program Director and Anatomy Teacher at a massage therapy school, I now have a better understanding of the classroom along with whole body wellness. My clinic experience has been working in wellness centers along with a personal injury clinic in Nashville helping accident victims overcome their injuries sustained during a motor vehicle accident.
When I’m not in the classroom, you find me spending time helping coach football or with my beautiful daughter and my loving family and friends.
